Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to discuss the prospect of Steven Gerrard playing under Jurgen Klopp.
Their tweets come after the former Reds captain admitted that he felt ‘jealous’ of the current Liverpool players, and said that even sitting down to chat with the German makes him want to put a kit on and give his all for Klopp.

The current Rangers boss left his boyhood club in the summer of 2015 and joined LA Galaxy, just months before Brendan Rodgers was sacked and replaced by Klopp in October – Gerrard’s last game for the Merseysiders was an embarrassing 6-1 defeat to Stoke.
After hearing Gerrard’s glowing review of the former Borussia Dortmund boss, lots of Liverpool fans have allowed themselves to dream of their former No.8 playing under arguably the club’s best manager in many years, and it’s safe to say it is a thought that excites them.
Their dreams may never turn into reality, but that hasn’t prevented them from discussing the hypothetical possibility.
