West Ham United delivered their second clean sheet in as many weeks to pick up a creditable point away to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
While not quite managing to pick up three points, the away draw represents progress and sees the Hammers build upon their first English Premier League win of the season last week.
However, that doesn’t mean supporters are entirely happy. Fans have found themselves confused by manager Slaven Bilic’s decision in recent weeks to start Javier Hernandez out wide on the left hand side, with Andy Carroll deployed as the solo central striker.
The Irons’ star summer signing hasn’t looked himself in that position and looks like a wasted talent when not attempting to run in behind through the middle or poach goals he’s known for scoring.
Bilic has managed the stop the rot in West Ham’s results, but how well they do this season will depend on whether he can find the right blend in attack.
