América is also reportedly interested in triggering his release clause, but signing Alvarado won't come cheap.

It’s no secret that Alvarado is in the best form of his career. He is currently Chivas’ top player and, in every call-up from Javier Aguirre with the Mexican National Team, he's competing for a starting spot against Europe-basedplayers.
Alvarado is also being targeted by Tigres and Rayados, so it remains to be seen which club is most willing to pay his release clause. Both Monterrey-based teams have the financial resources to make a serious offer, so it will be interesting to see who becomes the highest bidder for or whether the player ultimately decides to stay with Chivas.
