While these signings have hardly set fireworkd off among the Newcastle faithful, the clubs potential new signing may do just that.
Reports are suggesting that Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mikel Merino is on his way to the club to finalise a permanent transfer, after rejecting the approaches of Athletic Bilbao.
