Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has made a big call in his Champions League final selection, with Gareth Bale being left on the bench.
Granted, Bale has not played any football since aggravating a calf injury towards the end of April, but it was thought that the attacker would be selected in the Real Madrid XI for the clash in Wales.
Instead, Juventus will have to deal with the threat of in-form Isco, who has been chosen to start alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema in the final third of the field.
It has been claimed that Real Madrid are open to negotiating with Manchester United over a possible deal for Bale this summer.
That alone was enough to send the Man United supporters into a frenzy on social media, and that was also the case when it was confirmed that Bale would start Saturday night’s clash on the bench.
Indeed, supporters of the 20-time English champions took to Twitter in their numbers to claim that a deal for Bale had already been agreed, with the former Tottenham Hotspur winger swapping Madrid for Manchester ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.
