Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin posted a picture of himself on his official Twitter account on Tuesday as he enjoys his extended break, with Gunners fans urging the Barcelona-linked defender to stay and fight for the club.
The right-back is currently on holiday following his exertions with Spain at this summer’s European Under-21 Championships, in which his nation lost out to Germany in the final.
However, following the north London outfit’s fifth-place finish last term, and the fact that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was often preferred in the right wing-back position in the closing stages of the campaign, Bellerin has been linked with a return to the Catalan giants.
Arsenal supporters were quick to respond to the 22-year-old’s post via social media, and while some said the club still need him, others only want him to stay if he is committed and ready to fight for the team.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
