Between 1992 and 1997, the Hong Kong International Cricket Sixes tournamentwas a feature of the sporting calendar in what was then a British colony.For the first four years of its existence it was played at the KowloonCricket Club, before moving into the impressive Hong Kong Stadium in 1996.Now the event is to be resurrected and it is going back to its originallocation on the artificial pitch at the KCC on 10th and 11th November.Sponsored by Cathay Pacific and Standard Chartered, there is a substantialprize fund including US$80,000 to the winners and US$50,000 to therunners-up.Eight teams will take part with the top two in each group of four contestingthe semi-finals. The sides are: Australia, England, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and United Arab Emirates.The England and Wales Cricket Board today announced their team to travel toHong Kong.
